Le contrebassiste compositeur, François Poitou, nous emmène dans un univers personnel, un jazz moderne teinté de classique. L'originalité de l'orchestration mêlant son du quatuor à cordes et trio jazz donne à ce projet un son particulier, un "jazz de chambre" cinématographique et aérien. Après 2 albums largement salués par la critique (fff Télérama, Indispensables Jazz News, HIT Couleurs Jazz, 10 meilleurs albums de jazz français des Inrockuptibles) il revient au Sunset-Sunside pour un concert évènement.

An innovative orchestration, where the sound of the string quartet is mixed with the jazz trio, original compositions and bright arrangements are the main characteristics of this new quintet. Influenced by serialism and movie music, the compositions and their interpretation define an organic jazz, a specific sound with a strong emphasis on space and melody.
