Animées par le partage de la musique, Selkies est la rencontre de 3 musiciennes chanteuses à la recherche d’un nouveau son chanté. Associant jazz, musiques improvisées et chanson, ce projet élabore la voix sous tous ses aspects, d’abord dans l’harmonisation de 3 voix (Nirina Rakotomavo, Céline Boudier & Cynthia Abraham) puis dans le jeu de l’improvisation.
Selkies is the union of three musicans and singers moved by the will of sharing music and seeking for a new sound to sing. Mixing jazz, impro and song, this project expores every aspect of the voice, from harmony to improvisation.
