“Après une image sonore « CD beyound mountains » très contemporaine, où mes univers improvisés et écrits du moment s’intriquaient à plaisir, j’explore, avec « point of views » les surfaces et profondeurs de l’héritage du jazz moderne.« Point of views » devient le reflet de nos expériences, une passerelle entre deux continents, deux territoires, deux cultures, le jazz et la culture européenne. Par cette rencontre, j’ai voulu confronter nos points de vues, si proches et si lointains, subtilement empreints d’expériences communes dans les musiques écrites et improvisées”. Une équipe de choc.
After a contemporary music "CD beyound mountains/Yolk 2010" sound image, where my improvised and written universes of the moment insinuate to pleasure, I explore, with "point of views" the surfaces and depths of the heritage of modern jazz, inspired by my beaches "Blue Note" favorite, and nourished by my experiences in European music. Through this meeting, I wanted to confront our points of view, so close and so distant, subtly imbued with common experiences in written and improvised music. "Point of views" becomes a reflection of our experiences, a bridge between two continents, two territories, two cultures, jazz and European culture.
