Baptiste Trotignon- piano ; Minino Garay - batterie, percussions
Entre jazz et chanson, tango et pop, rythmes sud-américains et mélodies européennes, le sublime corps à corps entre le piano du Français Baptiste Trotignon et les percussions de l’Argentin Minino Garay. Le pianiste français et le batteur/percussionniste argentin affectionnent les chemins de traverse et les itinéraires bis. Mais aussi tous les répertoires ! De la chanson au jazz, de leurs compositions personnelles au tango, Trotignon et Minino revisitent West Side Story de Bernstein, du Monk ou du McCartney, sans oublier Charlie Parker ou Carlos Gardel. Sur des rythmes d’Amérique du Sud, leurs improvisations sont avant tout le fruit d’une complicité hors-norme. Comme le dit Trotignon, c’est « un voyage entre Nord et Sud, entre le son du bois et celui des peaux, entre nostalgie langoureuse et folle frénésie… »
