Deux ans après la sortie de The Kay Swift Songbook Vol.1, le Quintet d'Esaie Cid présente au Sunside le contenu du Volume 2, nouvel album tout fraîchement sorti en 2021, chez Fresh Sound Records Avec The Kay Swift Songbook , Esaie Cid révèle au grand public l’œuvre d'une compositrice exceptionnelle. Longtemps restée dans l'oubli, Kay Swift est une véritable égérie du Broadway des années 30, et la confidente privilégiée de Georges Gershwin. Le voile se lève sur une songwriter de tout premier ordre.
Two years after the release of The Kay Swift Songbook Vol. 1, the Quintet of Esaie Cid presents at Sunside the contents of Volume 2, a new album just released in 2021, on Fresh Sound Records With The Kay Swift Songbook, Esaie Cid reveals to the general public the work of an exceptional composer. Long forgotten, Kay Swift is a true muse of Broadway in the 1930s, and the privileged confidante of Georges Gershwin. The veil is lifted on a first-rate songwriter.
