Pour son 5ème album, Sandro Zerafa nous offre une autre facette de son univers - son amour profond pour le « Great American Songbook ». Pour lui, ce répertoire est l’ultime lieu d’une liberté d’expression offrant la place à cette danse délicate entre tradition et innovation, naïveté et sophistication. Ici Sandro ne s’éloigne pas de son penchant pour la diversité et il y présente deux sons différents : un duo avec le pianiste Vincent Bourgeyx et un trio avec Yoni Zelnik et Antoine Paganotti. L’album de la maturité? Peut-être mais dans tous les cas, à ce jour, il s’agit ici de sa déclaration la plus sincère.

For his 5th album, Sandro Zerafa  presents another side of his universe - his deep love for the Great American Songbook. To him,  this repertoire represents the ultimate vehicle for freedom of expression and it provides space for that delicate dance between tradition and innovation, between the naive and the sophisticated. Here, Sandro doesn’t stray from his penchant for diversity and he presents two distinct sounds - a duo with pianist Vincent Bourgeyx and a trio with Yoni Zelnik and Antoine Paganotti. The album of maturity? Possibly, but in any case it is Sandro’s most sincere statement to date.
