George Benson est un artiste contemporain qui restera dans l'histoire avec les grands guitaristes de jazz tels que John Leslie « WES » Montgomery, Charlie Christian... Cliff Lisette, guitariste et chanteur de l’ile Maurice au talent hors du commun, a su capter l'essence musicale de George Benson, s’inspirant jour après jour de son style et construisant ainsi un jeu très personnel et très inspiré. Oscar Marchioni à l'orgue et Olivier Portail à la batterie, tout deux habitués au trio orgue-guitare-batterie et s’étant également produit au Sunset avec le guitariste New Yorkais Ed Cherry, sont certainement les deux fidèles compagnons pour revivre avec ce trio les émotions de cette grande et belle aventure née au début des années 60 et qui fait toujours rage aujourd'hui.
