EXTENSIONS est né en 2019 sous l’impulsion du vibraphoniste et compositeur François Narboni. Puisant aussi bien dans le jazz que dans la musique pop-rock ou classique moderne- contemporaine (Stravinsky, Bartók, Reich...), la musique d’EXTENSIONS renoue avec l'esprit innovant du jazz-rock et de ses dérivés des grands groupes des années 70 : Gong, Magma, Weather report...

EXTENSIONS was born in 2019 under the leadership of vibraphonist and composer François Narboni. Drawing from jazz as well as pop-rock or modern-contemporary classical music (Stravinsky, Bartok, Reich...), the music of EXTENSIONS reconnects with the innovative spirit of jazz-rock and its derivatives of the great bands of the 70s : Gong, Magma, Weather report...
