OUVERTURE DES PORTES 30MIN AVANT LE DEBUT DU CONCERT

A l'occasion de son troisième concert en tant que leader au Sunside, le batteur Aurel Violas sort son premier EP intitulé A Dancing Mind. Rejoint par Benjamin Thiébault au piano et Daniel Nagel à la contrebasse, le trio interprète les compositions et arrangements d’Aurel Violas ; ce sont autant de curiosités rythmiques stimulant l’imaginaire visuel, que de simples mélodies, apaisées et empreintes de nostalgie. Le résultat est un jazz vivant et organique, faisant la part belle à l’interaction et l’inventivité.

On the occasion of his third concert as a leader at the Sunside, drummer Aurel Violas releases his first EP, entitled A Dancing Mind. Together with pianist Benjamin Thiébault and bass player Daniel Nagel, the trio interprets Aurel Violas’s compositions and arrangements. The repertoire blends energetic and intriguing rhythmical curiosities, stimulating the listener’s visual imagination, with simple and appeased melodies, tinged with nostalgia.
