Seule une chanteuse et un bassiste d'exception pouvait combiner avec style une approche dépouillée du répertoire, un jeu subtil et une liberté musicale. Peu d'enregistrements dans l'histoire du jazz font appel à une instrumentation voix/ ontrebasse. Lorsque Sinne Eeg et Thomas Fonnesbæk sortent leur premier album en 2015: EEG-FONNESBÆK, ils obtiennent le Danish Music Award du meilleur album de jazz vocal. Dans la filiation directe de cet album, Staying in touch fait ressortir le meilleur des deux musiciens.
Only an exceptional singer and bassist could stylishly combine a stripped-down approach to the repertoire, subtle playing and musical freedom. Few recordings in the history of jazz use voice/double bass instrumentation. When Sinne Eeg and Thomas Fonnesbæk released their first album in 2015: EEG-FONNESBÆK, they won the Danish Music Award for Best Vocal Jazz Album. In the direct filiation of this album, Staying in touch brings out the best of the two musicians.
