Nouvel album “Live At The Museum” // Pianissimo Vol. XVII "New Talent"
Mathis Picard est un jeune pianiste, compositeur et producteur franco-malgache, basé à New York, évoluant sur la scène musicale internationale. Les critiques londoniens décrivent Mathis comme quelqu’un de “très impressionnant, une personnalité aussi dynamique qu'il est virtuose au clavier". En 2022 Mathis a sorti son premier album de piano solo intitulé "Live at the Museum” qui a été accueilli avec des commentaires chaleureux par les critiques et le magazine Downbeat. Enregistré avec un public en direct au National Jazz Museum of Harlem à New York, cet album est un voyage sonore à travers lequel Mathis explore le musée de sa propre vie musicale, honorant et mettant en lumière ses racines dans le jazz, la musique classique et électronique.
Mathis Picard is a young French-Malagasy New York based pianist, composer and producer in the international music scene. London reviewers describe Mathis as a “knockout, as dynamic a personality as he is virtuosic on the keys”. Rooted in the tradition of live acoustic performance and deemed as “one to watch” by Jazzwize magazine. Recorded with a live audience at the National Jazz Museum of Harlem in New York City, this album is a sonic journey through which Mathis explores the museum of his own life in music, honouring and spotlighting his roots in Jazz, Classical and Electronic music.
