Giovanni Mirabassi s’impose par un style très personnel où la richesse mélodique et rythmique se noue à l’inventivité de ses improvisations : une superbe logique interne y est à l’œuvre, qui mêle beauté, raffinement et subversion musicale. Né à Pérouse en 1970, Giovanni Mirabassi est sans doute le plus singulier, un randonneur attiré par le chemin de crête plutôt que par les sentiers pépères.
Giovanni Mirabassi imposes himself with a very personal style where the melodic and rhythmic richness is tied to the inventiveness of his improvisations: a superb internal logic is at work there, which combines beauty, refinement and musical subversion. Born in Perugia in 1970, Giovanni Mirabassi is undoubtedly the most singular, a hiker attracted by the ridge path rather than the cushy paths.
