Astre endormi dans son profond sommeil éternel depuis plus d'un demi-siècle, au milieu de ses planètes favorites orbitant autour de lui, il rêvait quelquefois, écoutant ses talentueux disciples, Pharoah, Farrel, Grossman, Liebman, Rhames, Anderson, JB Lewis, perpétuer son chant intemporel, quand il fût réveillé par une musique lui rappelant son duo avec Rashied, dont les musiciens qui jouaient étaient inconnus, un ténor véhément éructant des cascades torrentielles de notes, un batteur puissant propulsant, catapultant le saxophone comme un onagre romain, il fût impressionné par ces deux trublions dans son songe paradoxal, quand il entendit soudain la voix lointaine de Jean-Pierre Bonnet lui chuchoter à l'oreille "Boris Blanchet et Mathieu Bec" alors il se mit à sourire heureux, ajoutant "FLYIN SUFI" à ses choses favorites, et se rendormit apaisé dans son profond sommeil éternel.
