L’univers expérimental développé par Charlotte Wassy et appuyé par le groove de l'incontournable Felipe Cabrera dans ce nouveau projet constitue un pont reliant l’esprit du Jazz aux sonorités Africaines qui l’habitent. « Inner Forest » est une fenêtre ouverte sur une jungle mélodique et rythmique pensée et improvisée, où la voix retrouve sa qualité d’instrument primaire. La chanteuse et compositrice nous livre à travers ce nouvel opus une part de son intimité, où chaque morceau incarne une pièce du puzzle de son identité."
The experimental universe developed by Charlotte Wassy and supported by the groove of the essential Felipe Cabrera in this new project constitutes a bridge connecting the spirit of Jazz to the African sounds that inhabit it. “Inner Forest” is a window open onto a melodic and rhythmic jungle thought out and improvised, where the voice regains its quality as a primary instrument. The singer and composer gives us through this new opus a part of her intimacy, where each piece embodies a piece of the puzzle of her identity.
