Pendant son séjour à la Nouvelle-Orléans, il a joué dans de nombreux lieux tels que Buffa's, le New Orleans Historical Jazz Park, le New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (Jazz Fest), l'emblématique Bayou Bar de l'hôtel Pontchartrain, qui jouit d'une renommée mondiale. Elijah a également étudié et joué avec les meilleurs musiciens de la Nouvelle-Orléans : Wessell "Warmdady" Anderson, Cyrille Aimée, Banu Gibson, Amina Scott, Leah Chase, et bien d'autres encore. Elijah a récemment passé l'été à Ascona, en Suisse, où il a joué avec le groupe "Loyola University Jazz Ensemble", qui joue de la musique de style Nouvelle-Orléans. Le style principal d'Elijah est le jazz, et il apporte un renouveau rafraîchissant aux standards du jazz des années 30-60, ainsi qu'au jazz contemporain et à certains airs de spectacle. Il apporte une aura captivante, avec un soupçon de camp, à tous les endroits où il chante et éblouit son public avec tout ce qu'il a dans le ventre !

During his time in New Orleans, he performed at numerous venues such as Buffa's, the New Orleans Historical Jazz Park, the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival (Jazz Fest), the iconic Bayou Bar at the Pontchartrain Hotel, which enjoys worldwide fame. Elijah has also studied and performed with top New Orleans musicians: Wessell "Warmdady" Anderson, Cyrille Aimée, Banu Gibson, Amina Scott, Leah Chase, and many more. Elijah recently spent the summer in Ascona, Switzerland, where he performed with the group "Loyola University Jazz Ensemble", which plays New Orleans style music. Elijah's primary style is jazz, and he brings a refreshing revival to jazz standards from the 30s-60s, as well as contemporary jazz and some show tunes. He brings a captivating aura, with a hint of camp, to every place he sings and dazzles his audience with everything he has in his stomach!
