Nicola Sergio sort de l’ordinaire grâce à sa musique et son style dynamique au-delà des frontières. Le pianiste italien installé à Paris retrouve son «premier amour» dans le piano solo, un terrain fertile où il peut faire fondre les différents langages musicaux. Jazz, classique et musique pop coexistent et ils sont sa source de vie dont il s’inspire afin de développer un langage personnel et un style riche et cohérent. En écoutant Nicola Sergio en solo on est continuellement surpris par la variété des ambiances, l’excellente technique toujours au service de l’expression, et cette capacité rare de ne faire qu’un avec son propre instrument et avec sa propre musique. The Italian pianist settled in Paris finds in piano solo his “first love”, a fertile ground where he can melt the different musical languages he has taken in. Jazz, classical and pop music coexist and they are his life blood by which he is inspired in order to develop a personal language and a rich and coherent style. When you listen to Nicola Sergio piano solo you are continuously surprised at the variety of atmospheres, the excellent technique always in the service of the expression, and at that rare ability of becoming one with their own instrument and with their own music. Thanks to this he reaches an emotional intensity keeping the listeners bated breath from the beginning to the very end of his concerts.
