Marcel Powell - guitare et voix
Marcel Powell manie la six-cordes avec virtuosité. Dans l’album “Só Baden”, il arrange les compositions de son son père, Baden Powell (1937-2000), rend hommage à son 85ème anniversaire et montre combien l'héritage musical du guitariste brésilien reste vivant et actuel. Le répertoire plonge l'auditeur dans les improvisations jazzistes et l'univers brésilien grâce à la « griffe » du guitariste, reconnaissable entre toutes au premier accord.
Marcel Powell handles the six-string with virtuosity. In the album "Só Baden", he arranges the compositions of his father, Baden Powell (1937-2000), pays tribute to his eightieth birthday and shows how the musical heritage of the Brazilian guitarist remains alive and current. The repertoire immerses the listener in jazz improvisations and the Brazilian universe thanks to the guitarist's "claw", recognisable from the first chord.
