European jazz quartet est le nom du groupe fondé par le pianiste Pierre-Antoine Chaffangeon et la chanteuse Monika Kabasele en 2019. Les esthétiques proposées ici sont celles de Michael Brecker, Wayne Shorter ou encore Herbie Hancock ainsi que des compositions personnelles . Cette musique, souvent représentée comme musique instrumentale prend des chemins musicaux qui varient, quand elle est interprétée par la voix, au lieu d’un instrument.
European jazz quartet is the name of the group founded by pianist Pierre-Antoine Chaffangeon and singer Monika Kabasele in 2019. The aesthetics offered here are those of Michael Brecker, Wayne Shorter or Herbie Hancock as well as personal compositions. This music, often represented as instrumental music, takes varying musical paths when performed by voice, instead of an instrument.
