Entouré de cinq chanteuses, Simon Nwambeben revisite la tradition vocale Bafia du Cameroun. Sublimé par l’inspiration du leader et son remarquable travail aux percussions, le projet, tout en s’inscrivant dans la filiation des chorales africaines, propose un univers de poésie qui danse et palpite constamment aux frontières de l’universel.
Surrounded by five singers, Simon Nwambeben revisits the Bafia vocal tradition of Cameroon. Sublimated by the inspiration of the leader and his remarkable work on percussion, the project, while being part of the filiation of African choirs, offers a universe of poetry that dances and constantly throbs at the borders of the universal.
