Pablo CAMPOS Quintet

Le pianiste et chanteur Pablo Campos présente pour la première fois son nouveau quintet au Sunset, pour un concert où les cuivres et la voix se mêlent autour des plus belles pages du Great American Songbook et de compositions originales. Dans la grande tradition des chanteurs de Nat King Cole à Kurt Elling, la formule du quintet permet un « big band de poche » qui vient inonder de swing le répertoire et mettre en valeurs certains des meilleurs solistes de la scène jazz française et internationale; Pablo sera accompagné de Raynald Colom à la trompette, Jeanne Michard au saxophone ténor, Leighton McKinley Harrell à la contrebasse et Philip Maniez à la batterie.
Paris-based piano player and singer Pablo Campos is introducing his quintet at the Sunset Jazz Club for an evening of swinging piano and vocal jazz backed by an all-star team of accompanists. In the great tradition of Nat King Cole, Joe Williams or Kurt Elling, this quintet will take you on a musical journey where the horns and the voice merge to celebrate the Great American Songbook.
