Enrico Pieranunzi est l’un des pianistes européens les plus passionnants. Grand connaisseur du piano jazz dans toute sa diversité, il voue une grande admiration pour les plus grands représentants du genre parmi lesquels Bud Powell, Paul Bley ou encore Bill Evans. Entouré de son comparse André Ceccarelli qui l’accompagna dans son « trio européen » dans les années 90, et du talentueux Diego Imbert à la contrebasse, ce « Ménage à trois » n’en reste pas moins un vrai trio de jazz, éclatant, complice, swinguant et élégant ! Immanquable !
Enrico Pieranunzi is one of Europe's most exciting pianists. A great connoisseur of jazz piano in all its diversity, he has great admiration for the greatest representatives of the genre, including Bud Powell, Paul Bley and Bill Evans. Surrounded by his sidekick André Ceccarelli who accompanied him in his "European trio" in the 90s, and the talented Diego Imbert on double bass, this "Ménage à trois" is nonetheless a real jazz trio, dazzling, accomplice, swinging and elegant!
