Après s'être produit sur les scènes les plus prestigieuses du monde, notamment Carnegie Hall (USA), Elbphilharmonie (DE), Saint Martin in The Fields (UK), Hong Kong Arts Center (CN) et Auditorium Parco della Musica (IT), le pianiste piémontais Andrea Manzoni (connu pour ses collaborations avec Aldo Romano, Jan Bang, Andrea Bocelli, Xavier Girotto et Levon Minassian) présente son dernier album "Live at Slovenský Rozhlas" au Sunset Sunside. L'album est publié sous le label Another Music Records et distribué par Believe Music. Manzoni est accompagné de son trio composé d'Andrea Beccaro (Popa Chubby) à la batterie et de Viden Spassov à la contrebasse. Ce nouvel opus, enregistré en live à Bratislava avec son trio, s'éloigne des canons du classique trio de jazz piano. Il s'ouvre à un nouveau public capable de percevoir les subtiles interactions entre le jazz, l'électro, le rock et l'expérimentation. Cet album est puissant et possède un impact émotionnel considérable : une batterie, une contrebasse et un piano jouant à un rythme rapide tout en conservant une rythmique minimale. L'importance de la composition est très présente et puise ses racines dans les traditions classiques. Rien n'est laissé au hasard, même dans les moments sonores plus libres.

After performing on some of the world's most beautiful stages, including Carnegie Hall (USA), Elbphilharmonie (DE), Saint Martin in The Fields (UK), Hong Kong Arts Center (CN), and Auditorium Parco della Musica (IT), Piedmontese pianist Andrea Manzoni (known for collaborations with Aldo Romano, Jan Bang, Andrea Bocelli, Xavier Girotto, Levon Minassian) presents his latest album, 'Live at Slovenský Rozhlas' at Sunset Sunside. The album is released under the label Another Music Records and distributed by Believe Music. Manzoni is accompanied by Andrea Beccaro (Popa Chubby) on drums and Viden Spassov on double bass. This new work, recorded in Bratislava with his trio, departs from the conventions of a classic jazz piano trio and appeals to a broader audience that can appreciate the nuanced blend of jazz, electronica, rock, and experimentation. The album is a powerful and emotionally impactful collection of compositions, with the piano, drums, and double bass playing at both a rapid pace and minimal rhythm simultaneously.
