Le brillant Laurent Coulondre, “révélation” aux Victoires du jazz 2016 et nominé aux Victoires du Jazz 2020, consacre son nouvel album « Michel on My Mind » à la mémoire de celui qu’il avait rencontré musicalement à ses 10 ans, projet qui a été honoré du « prix du disque français de l’année » par l’Académie du Jazz. A l’image de l'harmonie intergénérationnelle voguant entre tradition et modernité que Petrucciani aimait entretenir.
The brilliant Laurent Coulondre, “revelation” at the Victoires du jazz 2016 and nominated for the Victoires du Jazz 2020, dedicates his new album “Michel on My Mind” to the memory of the man he met musically when he was 10, a project which was honored with the “French record of the year prize” by the Jazz Academy. Like the intergenerational harmony sailing between tradition and modernity that Petrucciani loved to maintain.
