Lucy Wijnands - voix ; Tony Tixier - piano ; Luca Fattorini - c.basse
Après une résidence au prestigieux Mezzrow Jazz Club au West Village, la jeune chanteuse Lucy Wijnands a fait une tournée en Europe, en Israël et au Japon. Ayant grandi dans un univers musical familial, elle a développé une maturité et un équilibre dans sa voix qui défient son âge. Le premier disque de Lucy, "Something Awaits" est salué par la critique international.
By the time she blew out the candles for her 25th birthday, Lucy Wijnands had already toured Europe, Israel and Japan, won the Ella Fitzgerald Vocal Competition, and graduated as an Ella Fitzgerald Scholar and President’s Award recipient for jazz studies at SUNY Purchase’s Conservatory of Music. Naturally, she is now a regular on the NYC jazz scene including a residency at the prestigious Mezzrow Jazz Club in the West Village.
