The Hypnotiks, l’un des meilleurs groupes soul/funk de Paris revient sur scène en force au Sunset. Ce collectif old-school experimenté propose un mélange unique de « downtown soul » et « uptown funk. » Pour cette soirée exceptionelle, The Hypnotiks invite Indy Eka, Wolfgang Valbrun et Saraph Sunman–trois compagnons de la route–pour célébrer la tradition soul de Chigaco. Certes cette ville est connu tout d’abord pour le blues, mais les legends de la soul comme Etta James, Baby Huey, Donnie Hathaway et Curtis Mayfield, ont veçu ou travaillé pendant des nombreux années dans « the windy city, » et ils seront à l’affiche ce soir.
The Hypnotiks, one of Paris’s finest soul/funk bands, return to the Sunset in force. This experienced old-school collective offers a unique blend of « downtown soul » and « uptown funk. » For this exceptional evening, The Hypnotiks invite Indy Eka, Wolfgang Valbrun and Saraph Sunman-three companions from the road-to celebrate the soul tradition of Chigaco. The town may be known primarily for blues, but soul legends such as Etta James, Baby Huey, Donnie Hathaway and Curtis Mayfield lived or worked for many years in « the windy city, » and they’ll be on the bill tonight.
