Née et élevée à Singapour, Alexis Tay est une chanteuse montante de la scène jazz parisienne. Accompagnée d’un ensemble de musiciens internationaux, elle vous invite à un voyage musical à travers les grands classiques du jazz romantique des années 1920 aux années 1940, suivis de ses compositions originales qui fusionnent jazz, soul, pop and folk en une musique élégante, apaisante et envoûtante. Sa musique évoque des images poétiques et cinématographiques, témoignant des moments d’amour, de perte, de courage et d’espoir qui jalonnent la vie. Elle admire la chanteuse nigériano-britannique Sade et le compositeur brésilien Antônio Carlos Jobim.
Born and raised in Singapore, Alexis Tay is an emerging singer in the vibrant Parisian jazz scene. Accompanied by an international ensemble of musicians, she invites you on a musical journey through timeless romantic jazz standards from the 1920s to the 1940s, followed by her original compositions that fuse jazz, soul, pop and folk into an elegant, soothing, and captivating sound. Her music evokes poetic, cinematic imagery, bearing witness to life’s moments of love, loss, courage, and hope. She admires the Nigerian-British singer Sade and the Brazilian composer Antônio Carlos Jobim.
