Les pontes du jazz européen que sont Stéphane Belmondo et Antonio Faraò s’entourent de deux complices de tout premier plan : Thomas Bramerie et Benjamin Henocq. Un véritable carré d’as qui oscillera entre standards revisités et compositions originales.
Antonio Faraò est une figure majeure du piano jazz contemporain, reconnu internationalement pour la virtuosité de son jeu, la profondeur de son langage harmonique et l’intensité expressive de son toucher. Installé à Milan, il a construit une carrière remarquable, distinguée par une forte présence scénique et un style immédiatement reconnaissable, qui conjugue tradition jazz et sensibilité moderne. Il a collaboré avec de nombreuses figures emblématiques de la scène jazz internationale, parmi lesquelles Jack De Johnette, Joe Lovano, Chris Potter, Miroslav Vitous, Marcus Miller et Didier Lockwood.
En 2025, il a publié son tout premier album en piano solo “Kind of…”, révélant une démarche artistique profondément personnelle et aboutie. Il annonce également la parution prochaine d’un album en quartet avec Stephane Belmondo “Do It !” ( Label Notes Around AG Sortie / l’Autre Distribution, sortie le 30 janvier 2026) avec Thomas Bramerie (contrebasse) et Benjamin Henocq (batterie). Salué pour la richesse émotionnelle de sa musique autant que pour sa maîtrise instrumentale exceptionnelle, Antonio Faraò s’impose comme l’une des voix les plus singulières et respectées du jazz actuel.
Antonio Faraò is a major figure in contemporary jazz piano, internationally recognized for the virtuosity of his playing, the depth of his harmonic language, and the expressive intensity of his touch. Based in Milan, he has built a remarkable career distinguished by a strong stage presence and an instantly recognizable style that blends jazz tradition with a modern sensibility. He has collaborated with many iconic figures of the international jazz scene, including Jack DeJohnette, Joe Lovano, Chris Potter, Miroslav Vitous, Marcus Miller, and Didier Lockwood.
In 2025, he released his very first solo piano album “Kind of…” revealing a deeply personal and fully realized artistic statement.
