Bettina Martinez est une pianiste et compositrice de jazz de la scène parisienne.
À seulement 19 ans, elle vient d’être choisie pour figurer dans l’Orchestre National de Jazz des Jeunes dirigé par Marc Ducret.
Elle réunit dans son trio le contrebassiste Julien Rech et le batteur Jonas Charles, pour interpréter ses compositions et reprendre des standards.
Lauréat du concours international Léopold Bellan en octobre 2025, le groupe s’inscrit dans la lignée des trios de jazz contemporains.
Ainsi, Ray Brown ou Chick Corea, jusqu’à Shai Maestro ou Tigran Hamasyan en passant par le trio français Prysm constituent la carte d’identité sonore d’un groupe animé par une quête d’inventivité, qui s’inscrit dans une volonté de perpétuer la tradition du jazz.
Bettina Martinez is a jazz pianist and composer from de Paris scene. At just 19 years old, she has been selected to be part of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra (ONJJ), conducted by Marc Ducret.
Her trio features double bassist Julien Rech and drummer Jonas Charles, with whom she performs her own compositions and covers of jazz standards.
Laureate of the Léopold Bellan International Competition in October 2025, the group follows in the footsteps of contemporary jazz trios.
Ray Brown and Chick Corea, Shai Maestro and Tigran Hamasyan, and the French trio Prysm are among the musical influences of this group, which is driven by a quest for creativity and a desire to perpetuate the tradition of jazz.
