Big Bruce and the Retro Kids est un projet instrumental Soul/Blues/Funk initié par le guitariste Brice Loubet, entouré de musiciens reconnus de la scène jazz, soul et groove française.
Pensé comme un pont entre musique populaire et musique instrumentale, le groupe développe aujourd’hui un répertoire original nourri par la culture Soul, le groove 70’s et l’improvisation, dans une esthétique inspirée par The Meters, John Scofield, Delvon Lamarr ou Vulfpeck.
Big Bruce and the Retro Kids is an instrumental Soul/Blues/Funk project initiated by guitarist Brice Loubet alongside musicians from the French jazz, soul and groove scene.
Blending groove culture, improvisation and instrumental songwriting, the band develops an organic live-oriented sound inspired by artists such as The Meters, John Scofield, Delvon Lamarr and Vulfpeck.
