Une des plus remarquables vocalistes de jazz du Japon, Charito est reconnue pour sa voix, son expressivité et sa musicalité. Apres un été de concerts aux Etats Unis, en Chine, aux Philippines, et bien sûr au Japon, Charito revient à Paris pour un concert exceptionnel. Ses collaborations discographiques s’étendent d’Ivan Lins à Harvey Mason en passant par le Manhattan Jazz Orchestra, Tamir Hendelman ou encore Michel Legrand qui dira de son chant qu’il est « une expression magnifique et spontanée de la Vie »
Elle sera accompagnée par son trio parisien qui comprend Vinh Lê (piano) Michel Rosciglione (contrebasse) et Hidéhiko Kan (batterie)
One of Japan’s most remarkable jazz vocalists, Charito is renowned for her voice, expressiveness, and musicality. After a summer of concerts in the United States, China, the Philippines, and of course Japan, Charito returns to Paris for an exceptional concert. Her recording collaborations range from Ivan Lins to Harvey Mason, including the Manhattan Jazz Orchestra, Tamir Hendelman, and Michel Legrand, who described her singing as “a magnificent and spontaneous expression of life.”
She will be accompanied by her Parisian trio, which includes Vinh Lê (piano), Michel Rosciglione (double bass), and Hidéhiko Kan (drums).
