Le Colombo Kociołek Frontini Trio est né sous l’impulsion de trois musiciens de la scène parisienne, Fabrizio Colombo au bandonéon, Émilie Aridon-Kociolek au piano et Lucas Frontini à la contrebasse, réunis autour de la fascination pour le son des trios emblématiques de l’histoire du tango argentin.
Dans la continuité du Vanguatrio notamment, le répertoire ici imaginé et arrangé par Fabrizio Colombo, offre une palette de nuances très riche, entre forte identité tanguera, incursions dans le jazz et un exceptionnel déploiement de virtuosité.
L’occasion pour ces trois musiciens d’unir leurs son et énergies dans la magie du son de trio et inscrire cette proposition dans le paysage aussi foisonnant que passionnant du tango instrumental actuel.
The Colombo Kociołek Frontini Trio was founded by three musicians from the Paris scene, Fabrizio Colombo on bandoneon, Émilie Aridon-Kociolek on piano, and Lucas Frontini on double bass, who were brought together by their fascination with the sound of the iconic trios of Argentine tango history.
Following in the footsteps of the Vanguatrio in particular, the repertoire imagined and arranged here by Fabrizio Colombo offers a rich palette of nuances, combining a strong tango identity with forays into jazz and an exceptional display of virtuosity.
