“Soleils Noirs” , le tout nouvel album d’EXEKO (Sous la direction musicale d’Antoine Delprat), reprend le répertoire de Bernard Lavilliers.
Dans des arrangements à la fois savants et dépourvus d’artifices, ils jouent des multiples possibilités qu’offrent la richesse des voix d’un groupe qui se connait par cœur, habitué des univers de l’improvisation. Ou comment réinventer le groove épicé du célèbre chanteur, dans une interprétation radicalement différente de l’originale, en respectant l’engagement des textes, en en soulignant la modernité dans un monde où les inégalités s’accentuent.
EXEKO, c’est un groupe vocal a capella composé de 6 chanteuses et chanteurs exceptionnels qui se connaissent bien (précédemment sous le nom d’Ego System), puisqu’ils ont déjà enregistré ensemble l’album « Tombés du Ciel » (Révélation Jazz Mag).

In arrangements that are both skilful and devoid of artifice, they play with the multiple possibilities offered by the richness of the voices of a group that knows itself by heart, accustomed to the world of improvisation. Or how to reinvent the spicy groove of the famous singer, in an interpretation radically different from the original, while respecting the commitment of the lyrics and underlining their modernity in a world of growing inequalities.
EXEKO is an a capella vocal group made up of 6 exceptional singers who know each other well (previously under the name Ego System), having already recorded the album ‘Tombés du Ciel’ together (Révélation Jazz Mag).
