Grant Stewart, musicien précoce et surdoué, a étudié avec des maitres tels que Donald Byrd, Barry Harris et Joe Lovano. Sa route artistique croise entre autre celle de Curtis Fuller, John Hendricks, Bob Mover, Brad Mehldau, Al Grey… Riche de rencontres et d’expériences sa puissance de jeu sait combiner à la fois taisions et relaxations, du même style que Sonny Rollins et Dexter Gordon.
Grant est un des plus puissants stylistes du moment et ardent représentant du style New Yorkais. Un must.
