La chanteuse Irene Amata, le guitariste Caio Marcio Santos et le percussionniste Julio Gonçalves proposent un répertoire entièrement dédié à l’œuvre de l’immense compositeur et interprète de la musique brésilienne Chico Buarque de Hollanda.
C’est en pleine pandémie en 2020 que Irene et Caio se rencontrent sur la scène du Festival ‘Musique dans la rue’ à Aix-en-Provence, et leur entente musicale est flagrante dès les premières notes. Depuis, leurs chemins se croisent à plusieurs reprises pour des concerts ponctuels à Paris, et la concretisation de leur collaboration autour d’un hommage à Chico Buarque émerge naturellement. Le percussionniste Julio Gonçalves, ayant déjà partagé la scène avec Irene et Caio nombreuses fois, accepte avec enthousiasme de les joindre. Le trio vous invite à découvrir l’univers hétéroclite de Chico Buarque, à travers leur interprétation personnelle riche en émotions, jeu virtuose de la guitare et interprétations vocales.

Irene and Caio met on stage at the ‘Musique dans la rue’ Festival in Aix-en-Provence in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, and their musical understanding was obvious from the very first notes. Since then, their paths have crossed on a number of occasions for one-off concerts in Paris, and the idea of collaborating on a tribute to Chico Buarque has naturally emerged. Percussionist Julio Gonçalves, who has already shared the stage with Irene and Caio on numerous occasions, enthusiastically agreed to join them. The trio invites you to discover the eclectic universe of Chico Buarque, through their personal interpretation rich in emotion, virtuoso guitar playing and vocal interpretations.
