Alessandro Bonifacio est un guitariste de jazz originaire de Venise actif sur la scène parisienne. Influencé par le mouvement be-bop (en particulier par Charlie Parker), il adapte les codes du genre à son propre instrument: un style personnel et énergique, dans le respect du swing et de la tradition du Great American Songbook. Il se produit pour la première fois en studio avec le bassiste Shimon Gambourg et Lucio Tomasi à la batterie pour un projet “studio session” où ils interprètent standards de jazz et compositions (Powell, Parker, Hefti, Monk).
Alessandro Bonifacio is a jazz guitarist from Venice, currently active on the Paris jazz scene. Influenced by the bebop movement—particularly by Charlie Parker—he adapts the genre’s language to his own instrument, developing a personal and vibrant style that pays tribute to swing and the legacy of the Great American Songbook.
Here, he presents his first studio recording, featuring bassist Shimon Gambourg and drummer Lucio Tomasi, in a ‘studio session’ project that includes jazz standards and compositions by Powell, Parker, Hefti, and Monk.”
