Inspirées de la lumière du Brésil, leurs voix se sont réunies en France pour créer un écrin commun à leur joyau vocal (« joia »). Trois voix qui s’entrelacent, vibrent et respirent ensemble dans une polyphonie chaleureuse.
Le trio vocal JOIA invite à un voyage musical délicat et joyeux, ancré dans la grande tradition de la musique vocale brésilienne, teinté d’humour, de « ginga » et d’élégance. Leurs inspirations puisent autant chez le Trio Esperança ou le Quarteto em Cy que dans l’univers de Vinicius de Moraes, Gilberto Gil, Milton Nascimento, Chico Buarque, Tó Brandileone — sans oublier Alain Souchon et Tété.
Le répertoire,finement arrangé par Augusto Ordine, figure majeure de la musique vocale brésilienne et fondateur du groupe Carioca Ordinarius, prend vie sur scène avec la guitare 7 cordes de Gabriel Marques.

The vocal trio JOIA invites you on a delicate and joyful musical journey, rooted in the great tradition of Brazilian vocal music, tinged with humour, ‘ginga’ and elegance. Their inspiration draws as much from the Trio Esperança and the Quarteto em Cy as it does from the worlds of Vinicius de Moraes, Gilberto Gil, Milton Nascimento, Chico Buarque and Tó Brandileone — not to mention Alain Souchon and Tété.
The repertoire, finely arranged by Augusto Ordine – a leading figure in Brazilian vocal music and founder of the group Carioca Ordinarius – comes to life on stage with Gabriel Marques’s 7-string guitar.
