Le guitariste niçois Kevin Saura n’est pas du genre à rester planté au premier carrefour musical. Bien au contraire, il s’amuse à naviguer entre les esthétiques, alliant tradition et modernité, frayant aussi bien dans le blues-rock, comme dans son premier album Dirty Talks (2023), que dans le bebop, le jazz west coast, le funk, le free, etc.
Chez Saura, Wes, Miles et Herbie côtoient le Voodoo Child.
Avec son quintet de fines lames, composé du guitariste Aurélien Miguel, du bassiste Romann Dauneau, du percussionniste Philippe Ciminato et du batteur Félix Joveniaux – Kevin Saura trace la route et creuse le sillon d’un jazz fusion avec son nouvel album »Ahead! » (Tweed Productions/Inouïe Distribution).

Nice-based guitarist Kevin Saura isn’t one to stand still at the first musical crossroads. On the contrary, he has fun navigating between aesthetics, combining tradition and modernity, spawning as much in blues-rock, as in his debut album Dirty Talks (2023), as in bebop, West Coast jazz, funk, free jazz and so on.
