Depuis qu’il a tourné avec Ray Brown au début des années 2000, le pianiste américain Larry Fuller s’est forgé une réputation comme l’un des pianistes les plus « swing » de la scène musicale.
Parrainé par Yamaha et nominé aux Grammy Awards, Fuller a perfectionné son art « à l’ancienne », sur scène, au sein d’ensembles légendaires : le Ray Brown Trio, le Jeff Hamilton Trio, le John Pizzarelli Quartet et en tant que directeur musical et pianiste d’Ernestine Anderson.
En l’honneur du centenaire de Ray Brown, le Larry Fuller Trio, basé à New York, rendra un hommage spécial en interprétant des arrangements que Fuller lui-même a joués au sein du trio de Brown. Préparez-vous à découvrir un programme ultra-swingant interprété par un véritable monstre du piano jazz.

Yamaha-endorsed, GRAMMY-nominated Fuller honed his craft the ‘old school way’ – on the bandstand performing in legendary ensembles: Ray Brown Trio, Jeff Hamilton Trio, John Pizzarelli Quartet and as musical director/pianist for Ernestine Anderson.
In honor of Ray Brown’s 100th birthday, the NYC-based Larry Fuller Trio will perform a special tribute – showcasing arrangements Fuller himself performed in Brown’s Trio. Expect to hear a super-swinging program delivered by a true jazz piano monster.
