Leïla Olivesi et Olga Amelchenko présentent les créations de leurs quatre mentorées : Anastasia Konstantinidou, Margaux Monnois, Vera Campos et Rozann Bezier. Une soirée qui promet d’être haute en couleurs avec l’ouverture en septet sous le signe d’African Rhapsody, le dernier album multi-recompensé de la pianiste, puis les showcases des étudiantes du CMDL : un jazz inventif, lyrique et planant pour le plus grand bonheur de vos oreilles !

Anastasia Quartet
La grâce intemporelle du jazz
La grâce de la chanteuse et flûtiste grecque captive dès les premières notes par son timbre chaleureux et une agilité qui évoque celle d’Ella Fitzgerald ou Samara Joy. Diplômée du CMDL et de l’université ionienne, Anastasia Konstantinidou interprète avec le même brio les thèmes du Great American Songbook, ses propres compositions et des chansons grecques en hommage à ses racines helléniques. Un programme magique conçu sur mesure pour une artiste exceptionnelle.
Rozann Bezier Hormê
Jazz progressif planant
Porté par Rozann Bézier et inspiré par la déesse Hormê, ce quartet navigue entre la scène anglaise (Portico Quartet, Gogo Penguin) et le jazz moderne (Dave Holland, Esbjörn Svensson trio) pour créer un univers planant qu’on pourrait appeler jazz progressif. Diplômée du CMDL, lauréate du Tremplin Action Jazz 2024 et résidente 2026 au Pavillon de la Sirène, la tromboniste et compositrice représente la nouvelle génération du jazz, ouverte sur le monde.

Véra Campos & ORiCHALQUE
Organique et lyrique
Jeune batteuse prodige, diplômée du Pôle Supérieur PSPBB et du CMDL, Véra Campos évolue dans ce trio organique, inspiré par Brad Mehldau et les mélodies puissantes de Milton Nascimento. Les compositions de chacun des artistes nourrissent une musique poétique et imaginative dans un dialogue permanent entre la contrebasse, le piano et la batterie. Une beauté à la fois lyrique et déroutante qui enchante au premier regard.

Margaux Monnois Oumo Trio
Acoustic & irish contemporary jazz
Le violoncelle est au cœur de ce trio singulier, tantôt lyrique, rythmique ou percussif, dialoguant étroitement avec la guitare et la batterie. Margaux Monnois, jeune diplômée du CMDL, compose une musique à la croisée du jazz contemporain et des musiques traditionnelles (notamment irlandaises). Influencé par Tigran Hamasyan ou Avishaï Cohen, ce trio acoustique dégage une identité forte et inattendue, enrichie par les voix de ses artistes inspirées.

Passages est un dispositif de mentorat à destination des minorités de genre soutenu par les Grands Formats, la Fneijma et AJC.
Leïla Olivesi and Olga Amelchenko present the works of their four mentees: Anastasia Konstantinidou, Margaux Monnois, Vera Campos and Rozann Bezier. An evening that promises to be a colourful affair, opening with a septet performance inspired by *African Rhapsody*, the pianist’s latest multi-award-winning album, followed by showcases from the CMDL students: inventive, lyrical and ethereal jazz that is a real treat for the ears!

Anastasia Quartet
The timeless grace of jazz
The charm of this Greek singer and flautist captivates from the very first notes with her warm tone and a vocal agility reminiscent of Ella Fitzgerald or Samara Joy. A graduate of the CMDL and the Ionian University, Anastasia Konstantinidou performs with equal brilliance the classics of the Great American Songbook, her own compositions and Greek songs in homage to her Hellenic roots. A magical programme tailor-made for an exceptional artist.
Rozann Bezier Hormê
Ethereal progressive jazz
Led by Rozann Bézier and inspired by the goddess Hormê, this quartet draws on influences from the British scene (Portico Quartet, Gogo Penguin) and modern jazz (Dave Holland, Esbjörn Svensson Trio) to create an ethereal world that could be described as progressive jazz. A graduate of the CMDL, winner of the 2024 Tremplin Action Jazz competition and 2026 artist-in-residence at the Pavillon de la Sirène, the trombonist and composer represents the new generation of jazz, open to the world.

Véra Campos & ORiCHALQUE
Organic and lyrical
A young drumming prodigy and graduate of the Pôle Supérieur PSPBB and the CMDL, Véra Campos performs in this organic trio, inspired by Brad Mehldau and the powerful melodies of Milton Nascimento. The compositions of each artist give rise to poetic and imaginative music, in a constant dialogue between the double bass, piano and drums. A beauty that is both lyrical and bewitching, enchanting from the very first listen.

Margaux Monnois Oumo Trio
Acoustic & Irish contemporary jazz
The cello lies at the heart of this unique trio, at times lyrical, rhythmic or percussive, engaging in a close dialogue with the guitar and drums. Margaux Monnois, a recent graduate of the CMDL, composes music at the crossroads of contemporary jazz and traditional music (particularly Irish). Influenced by Tigran Hamasyan and Avishai Cohen, this acoustic trio exudes a strong and unexpected identity, enriched by the voices of its inspired musicians.
