Quatre musicien.nes vous embarquent pour un voyage vers les quatre points cardinaux d’un jazz métissé. Entre guitare psychédélique, rythmiques chaloupées et vibrantes envolées du saxophone, la formation de Leo Geller convoque un melting pot d’influences : John Coltrane, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Fela Kuti ou encore Radiohead. Chaque note est jouée avec le cœur et les tripes.
Le projet est lauréat JazzContreBand 2023 et Prix du Public du Festival Jazz à Oloron 2023;
Le groupe a déjà foulé les scènes de Jazz à Vienne Festival, Cosmo Jazz Festival, Rhino Jazz Festival, Sunset-Sunside Paris, Périscope Lyon, Coco Jazz Festival, Crescent Jazz Festival et bien d’autres.
Le premier album “Love & Spirit” va sortir sur le prestigieux label espagnol Fresh Sounds Records en 2026.
Four musicians take you on a journey to the four corners of a fusion jazz landscape. With psychedelic guitar, swaying rhythms and soaring saxophone solos, Leo Geller’s band brings together a melting pot of influences: John Coltrane, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Fela Kuti and even Radiohead. Every note is played with heart and soul.
The project is the winner of JazzContreBand 2023 and the Audience Award at the Jazz à Oloron Festival 2023;
The band has already graced the stages of the Jazz à Vienne Festival, Cosmo Jazz Festival, Rhino Jazz Festival, Sunset-Sunside Paris, Périscope Lyon, Coco Jazz Festival, Crescent Jazz Festival and many others.
