Maylin Pultar a été décrite par Blues Magazine comme la Dr John féminine, imprégnée de Patti Smith et Kurt Cobain : “artiste, peu commune, sa voix est exceptionnelle, claire, cristalline et puissante, sa musique, comme sa présentation scénique est originale.”
Après des tournées aux États-Unis et en Europe, ses investigations musicales emmènent l’autrice -compositrice-interprète en 2023 jusqu’en Colombie pour des concerts où elle collabore avec Dany Garces, percussionniste afro-colombien (héritier de Paulino “Batata” Salgado) plusieurs fois nommé au Latin Grammy Awards.
Son dernier EP « Untamed » en porte la marque et explore la puissance électro jazz, de rythmes et de mélopées tribales et hypnotiques. Sur scène, ses chansons en anglais, français, et espagnol nous font voyager à travers son histoire et son métissage.
Lors de ce concert au Sunside, elle sera accompagnée par Frederic Truet au saxo, flute, percussions et cajon. Ils viendront partager les titres du dernier EP ainsi que des nouvelles chansons inédites et des reprises surprenantes.

After touring the USA and Europe, her musical investigations took the singer-songwriter to Colombia in 2023 for concerts where she collaborated with Dany Garces, an Afro-Colombian percussionist (heir to Paulino “Batata” Salgado) nominated several times for a Latin Grammy Award.
Her latest EP, “Untamed”, explores the power of electro-jazz, tribal rhythms and hypnotic melodies. On stage, his songs in English, French and Spanish take us on a journey through his history and his musical mix.
For this concert at Sunside, she will be accompanied by Frederic Truet on sax, flute, percussion and cajon, sharing tracks from her latest EP as well as new songs and surprising covers.
