Intitulé “Monogatari 物語” (qui signifie « histoire » en japonais), le nouveau projet de Balthazar Bodin
réinvente l’art de raconter des histoires sans recours au chant.
À travers des samples tirés de films, d’interviews, et d’autres extraits vocaux, il fusionne deep house, drum and bass,
hyper-pop et jazz pour créer une expérience sonore immersive.
Tromboniste virtuose, ayant collaboré avec des ensembles prestigieux comme l’Orchestre National de Jazz,
Balthazar tisse un lien entre l’introspection harmonique du jazz et l’énergie extravertie de l’électro,
transportant le public dans un univers d’émotions et de récits captivants.
Entitled “Monogatari 物語” (which means “story” in Japanese), Balthazar Bodin’s new project
reinvents the art of storytelling without recourse to vocals.
Using samples from films, interviews and other vocal excerpts, he fuses deep house, drum and bass,
hyper-pop and jazz to create an immersive sonic experience.
A virtuoso trombonist who has collaborated with prestigious ensembles such as the Orchestre National de Jazz,
Balthazar weaves together the harmonic introspection of jazz and the extroverted energy of electro,
transporting audiences into a world of captivating emotion and storytelling.
