Ce projet marque une nouvelle étape pour Simone Magliozzi, guitariste italien basé à Paris, qui s’éloigne de ses racines dans le jazz manouche pour explorer un univers musical plus large et plus personnel.
Profondément inspiré par les grandes figures de l’histoire du jazz telles que Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass et surtout Django Reinhardt il aborde cet héritage riche non pas comme une destination, mais comme un point de départ. Ces influences constituent le socle d’une vision artistique ouverte et ambitieuse.
A partir de là, le projet s’étend vers un univers sonore plus vaste, mêlant chansons anciennes, influences latines et trésors oubliés. Il en résulte une identité musicale vibrante et en perpétuelle évolution, où tradition et exploration coexistent, et où le jazz devient une passerelle vers de nouveaux horizons rythmiques et mélodiques.
This project marks a new chapter for Simone Magliozzi, an Italian guitarist based in Paris, as he moves beyond his roots in the Manouche jazz tradition to explore a broader and more personal musical landscape.
Deeply inspired by the great figures of jazz historyósuch as Wes Montgomery, Joe Pass, and above all Django Reinhardtóhe approaches this rich heritage not as a destination, but as a point of departure. These influences shape the foundation of an expansive artistic vision.
From there, the project opens into a wider universe of sound, blending old songs, Latin influences, and forgotten gems. The result is a vibrant and evolving musical identity, where tradition and exploration coexist, and where jazz becomes a gateway to new rhythmic and melodic horizons.
