L’expérience scénique aiguisée au fil de leurs performances (New Morning, Point Ephémère, Le Trianon en 1ere partie de Lee Fields…) propulse le show d’Uptight vers une nouvelle dimension à l’énergie libératrice qui ne laisse personne indifférent. « … le septet lâche les chevaux : cuivres incisifs, rythmiques propulsives et chant accrocheur, tous les ingrédients sont présent pour proposer une belle tranche finalement trop brève de Soul et de Funk… »
