Snapshots est un hommage à Ed Rummler, père de Vicki Rummler, employé cadre du géant de la photographie, Kodak, et clarinettiste à ses heures perdues. Ce nouvel opus est un joyeux mélange de compositions et de standards revisités, entre jazz moderne et folk traditionnel, tantôt émouvante, tantôt ludique – comme un album photo de la vie.
Snapshots is a tribute to vocalist Vicki Rummler’s father, Ed Rummler, a fine clarinetist, barbershop a cappella lover and career executive with the former film and photo giant, Eastman Kodak. Blending American folk and European jazz, this musical photo album brings each of the three artists into sharp focus through a timeless range of styles and emotions.
