« Le Joan Fort Trio est l’un des derniers projets du guitariste et compositeur catalan basé à Amsterdam. Pendant son séjour à New York à l’automne 24′, Joan a pu rencontrer et travailler avec certains des plus grands musiciens de la scène jazz new-yorkaise. À son retour en Europe, il a commencé à collaborer avec certains de ses héros à l’étranger. Cette fois, le trio est rejoint par l’un des plus grands maîtres vivants du saxophone jazz : M. Vincent Herring. Tout au long de sa carrière, Herring a joué avec certains des groupes les plus emblématiques de l’histoire du jazz, tels que les Jazz Messengers d’Art Blakey, Freddie Hubbard, Horace Silver, Cedar Walton, et bien d’autres.
Ils présenteront le nouvel album « So Far, So Good » (2025) du Joan Fort Trio, avec l’apport de la maîtrise de Vincent au sein du groupe.

« The Joan Fort Trio is one of the latest projects of the catalan guitarist and composer based in Amsterdam. During Joan’s stay in New York in the Fall 24′ he got to meet and work with some of the greatest players from the NYC jazz scene. Upon his return to Europe, he has started to collaborate with some of his heroes overseas. This time, the Trio is joined by one of the great living masters of Jazz Saxophone: Mr. Vincent Herring. Throughout his career, Herring has played with some of the most iconic bands in Jazz history such as Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers, Freddie Hubbard, Horace Silver, Cedar Walton, among many others.
They will be presenting the new album « So Far, So Good » (2025) by the Joan Fort Trio, with the addition of Vincent’s mastery to the band.
